Presentation Details

Presentation:

Creighton University and the City of Omaha aimed to modernize the campus, create a signature gateway to North Omaha, and improve transportation on historic 24th Street. The project, led by Felsburg Holt & Ullevig, EGA, and Confluence, successfully transformed the street by reconfiguring lanes, adding bike lanes and medians, and constructing bus stops and a roundabout. This revitalized section of 24th Street now serves the community, providing safe access to Creighton University and North Omaha, and stands as a model multimodal project in the state, showcasing effective collaboration between engineers and public/private entities.
