The Engineer's Club of Omaha, through our generous membership community, is pleased to offer these scholarships:

STEM Clubs Scholarship (*new in 2025)

Eligibility

  1. Applicant must be sponsored or connected to an active ECO member.
  2. A recognized STEM club with an adult contact, school or community sponsor, and more than 1 member.

Amount

Scholarships are awarded for reimbursement of relevant expenses, with a maximum award of $500. Receipts must be provided for relevant expenses to be reimbursed. Verification of the eligibility criteria is required.


Application Submittal
Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. Applications will be reviewed quarterly by the Engineers Club Board. Email STEM club details, ECO member support letter, and reimbursement request to engclubomaha@gmail.com

High School Scholarship

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from one of the following Omaha area counties:

- Douglas, Cass, Dodge, Sarpy, Saunders, or Washington, Nebraska

- Pottawattamie or Mills, Iowa

2. Planned course of study must be in an Engineering or Engineering related field.

Amount

Scholarships are awarded at $1,000 minimum. Verification of enrollment and designated major must be provided prior to the actual award of the scholarship.

Application Submittal
The application must be completed, certified by the school counselor or principal, and returned by March 1st of each year. See application for more information.

UNL/UNO Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility

1. Applicant shall be a current student or transferring student attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln or the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

2. Applicant shall have completed at least one (1) year of college prior to application and shall be enrolled as an undergraduate.

3. Applicant shall be enrolled in an engineering program and shall plan to graduate in the College of Engineering.

Amount

Scholarships are awarded in amounts of $2,500 to two separate applicants. Verification of enrollment and designated major must be provided prior to the actual award of the scholarship.

Professional Scholarship

Eligibility

1. Individual seeking professional development or career advancement in engineering field or a related discipline.

2. Applicant lives or works in one of the following Omaha area counties:

- Douglas, Cass, Dodge, Sarpy, Saunders, or Washington, Nebraska

- Pottawattamie or Mills, Iowa

3. Special consideration given to preparation materials associated with professional certifications (i.e. PE license).

Amount

Scholarships are awarded for reimbursement of relevant expenses, with a maximum award of $500. Receipts must be provided for relevant expenses to be reimbursed.

Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. Applications will be reviewed quarterly by the Engineers Club Board meeting.
